UL Mutual Makes a $20,000 Donation to the Canadian Red Cross to Support the Victims of Flooding in Eastern Canada

Drummondville, May 8, 2019 – UL Mutual takes action and donates $20,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help the communities affected by spring flooding in Quebec, Ontario and New Brunswick. 

It is on behalf of its 300,000 mutualists, its Board of Directors and its employees that UL Mutual makes this donation to support families in need. “Our hearts go out to the people affected by this extraordinary situation and to each person who is investing time and energy in helping the victims,” stated Mr. Christian Mercier, Chief Executive Officer of UL Mutual. 

Involvement in the community is a value to which the company is firmly committed by distributing more than $750,000 in donations and sponsorships every year. 

UL Mutual invites the people to join the movement and make a donation to the Red Cross via www.redcross.ca.
